2012

Potential Excelerate Group Ltd (PEG) was founded by two young and ambitious entrepreneurs from Seremban, Dato’ Dr. Sherwin Chew & Dato’ CK Cheong.
During its inception, PEG team was mainly involved in marketing of property and financial products like bonds, bridge financing and in Mainland China and Hong Kong."

2014

PEG returned to its home country Malaysia and opened its first office in Solaris Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.

2015

Invested in Trendy County (EyePort) a Malaysian-based A.I. Smart Vending Kiosk Service Provider. Trendy County redefines the retail industry, giving shoppers a rich, personalized experience via data analytics.
Invested in Rtist – Malaysia’s 1st Creative talent matching platform. Rtist aims to help companies find the right local creative talent for their business needs on demand basis. Rtist has raised over RM1 million through local crowdfunding platform Mystartr in early 2020.

2017

Incorporated Actcelerate Asset Management Ltd in Cayman Islands led by Dato’ Dr. Sherwin Chew & Dato’ CK Cheong which is specialised in identifying new investment opportunities and acquisitions in Malaysia, ASEAN and Australia.
Invested in HOP Technologies – Australian - based car rental (partnered with Hertz) and ride-e-hailing service provider, to provide an innovative service with benefits to both the drivers and riders.

2018

Founded Actcelerate International Group Ltd (NSX: ACT) which is officially listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSX) of Australia on 2nd July 2018, has successfully raised more than A$1.5 million from its IPO.
Actcelerate International Group Ltd is principally a diversified investment company focused on investing in information and communications technology, new age retail, financial services and green technology in the Asia-Pacific region. Dato’ CK Cheong is the CEO/Managing Director at Actelerate International Group Ltd.
Ventured into durian export and distribution business. It has created a well-known brand name - D’Malai in the local durian industry.
Invested in Cardiotrack – a Singapore - headquartered and India based HealthTech Company which provides disruptive healthcare diagnostics solution and bridges the gap between the doctor and patients through cutting edge technology.

2019

Incorporated PEG Holding Sdn. Bhd. (PEGH) to hold all the investment assets.
Invested in IdeaQu (GivePlease) – a fast-growing Singapore-based fintech charity donation platform.
Invested in Hiredly (Formerly Know as WOBB) - a leading Malaysian-based hybrid recruitment platform for junior to mid-management talent in ASEAN region.
Co-Invested in the “Yun Bridge Noodle”, a local F&B brand – an authentic Yunnan inspired selection of premium grade rice noodles and soup broth.

2020-2021

PEGH donated 200 sets of PPEs and 50,000 face masks were donated to our frontliners. Today, we are sharing this as a gentle reminder to everyone: stay safe, stay healthy and let's do our part in combating Covid-19.
PEGH pivots its company business model from private investment holding to a global multi-industry conglomerate investment holding company which is more focusing on public equity investments.
Incorporated PEG Capital Sdn. Bhd. (PEG Capital) to invest in Malaysian equity market.
PEG Capital’s investment portfolio includes public listed companies which are involved in e-KYC digital platform developer, vaccine distribution, manufacturing, construction, and property development sector.
In January 2021, Dato‘ Dr. Sherwin Chew was appointed as the Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) of China ForeignTrade Council.
In September 2021, PEG Capital, a subsidiary of PEGH emerged as a substantial shareholder in Scanwolf Corporation Berhad (7239) after acquiring a significant controlling interest in the Company. Dato’ Sri Dr. Sherwin Chew was appointed as Deputy Chairman and Dato’ CK Cheongwas also appointed as the executive director.
Scanwolf Corporation Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company, listed on Main Board of Bursa Malaysia. The Company is principally focused on designing and manufacturing of plastic extrusions and property development.

2022

PEGH which is run by a dedicated team of professionals led by Dato’ Dr. Sherwin Chew & Dato’ CK Cheong , will continue to grow and to create values to all the portfolio companies.
PEGH have had the privileges of helping many companies across Asia Pacific in their rapid business expansion and successful corporate transformation.
PEGH will further grow its investment portfolio this year and to become one of the leading private investment firms in Malaysia. Till now PEGH had invested more then RM150 million in Malaysia capital market and will continue grow the amount.
PEGH aspires to be a Fortune Global 500 Company by 2050.
