KUALA LUMPUR: Scanwolf Corporation Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Scanwolf Marketing Sdn Bhd, has signed an exclusive distributorship agreement with Signature Cabinet Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Signature International Bhd, to strengthen the strategic partnership between Scanwolf and Signature International within the business-to-people (B2P) segment, focusing specifically on project sales.
The agreement was signed following the official launch of Scanwolf Flooring flagship showroom at Petaling Jaya, Selangor with the aim to create value for its client through the renowned flooring material and kitchen cabinets offered respectively.
Scanwolf Marketing had also entered into a distributorship agreement with Signature Distribution Sdn Bhd, another wholly-owned unit of Signature International, and Beyond Bath Sdn Bhd to collaborate on cross-selling brand and utilise the existing business platform and sales network to create values for its client.
This would enabled Scanwolf products to be formally introduced and shared through the Sorento Master Club platform that is catered exclusively to interiors designers and effectively penetrate the business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) segments.
Scanwolf Marketing general manager Tan Yann Kang said the agreements were signed to foster a long-term strategic alliance and growth with partners.
“The ultimate objective is to create a healthy ecosystem for the building material and furnishing industries, which benefits both our business partners and our clients in the long run,” he said at the launched and joint cooperation signing ceremony here today.
Scanwolf deputy chairman Datuk Seri Dr Sherwin Chew said the company is currently in discussions with various parties and actively pursuing the next agency for its flagship store.
“We aim to set up five showrooms in 2022 and 12 sales galleries within three years,” he said.
He said the company has successfully completed a private placement of about 17 million new shares and raised nearly RM9.5 million.
He added that proceeds from the private placement would finance the upcoming expansion, investing in a new stone, plastic and composite (SPC) flooring production line to complement the existing range of vinyl flooring products, upgrading current production and purchase of raw materials, including hiring new talents to join the company.
Signature Group Project Business’s chief executive officer KS Lau said the agreement is in line with its plans for strategic growth in the project segment.
“With Signature’s premium branding and proven track record of more than 26 years in the corporate project segment, the inclusion of Scanwolf’s innovative product offerings will be an added value to our offerings to developers for upcoming property developments,” he added.
Scanwolf is a Malaysia-based investment holding company principally focused on designing and manufacturing plastic extrusions products and property development. – Bernama
